with the missed calls, can you add a black/white list button?
also, i was thinking about building one myself a while ago, and never got round to it. my idea was to create a rules engine, to process messages against (like an email client)
I tried "SMS Minder" but no answer SMS is sent ...
- configured "Auto reply text" - added one contact to Whitelist - saved settings - SMS Minder is running
I sent (several) SMS to that device (the are SMS arriving) but "SMS Minder" does not send the reply SMS ... Info: The contact contains more than one mobile phone numbers ... (but of course also contains the mobile phone number from the device which is sending the source SMS)
So you clicked the enable whitelist option and added a name.
Hmm, that's strange, it should work perfectly fine. When checking whether a contact is in the black or whitelist, it checks the name of the contact against the name that the message is tagged with, replying only to the number that it needs to, so this shouldn't be happening.
I tested with contacts that had even more than two numbers each and didn't come across any issue, but this may be something specific to that contact.
If you could email me at njdownes@gmail.com I can email you a debugging version of the application, then I'll be able to eliminate the issue for you and release a newer build.

Hi Steve,
ReplyDeleteBoth are very good ideas and I can certainly put them on my list of things to include in the future builds.
If you drop me an email at njdownes@gmail.com I will be able to get a pre-release to you for testing when I can get it built.
Thanks
